What is work in a digital world?

Audio

For the audio element of my "What is work in a digital world?" project, I initially planned to use Dramamine by Flawed Mangoes and Walking on a Dream by Empire of the Sun. These tracks are staples within Hopecore and Hopelesscore videos, offering emotional depth and a reflective atmosphere. However, due to copyright restrictions, I couldn’t use them. After researching copyright-free alternatives, I chose Golden Hour by Raja Ampat (Ampat, 2024).

Golden Hour captures the same soft, nostalgic tone that defines Hopecore imagery —featuring a slow, serene build-up before gently "breaking" into a slightly more upbeat, hopeful rhythm. Its ambient style mirrors the emotional journey of finding calm or optimism in a digital and uncertain world, making ita perfect match for the tone I want to achieve.

Alongside audio research, I also explored how to conduct and record interviews effectively, using resources such as Mediums blog about "Interview techniques and how to record interviews" (Kural, 2021). Focusing on building a relaxed environment and good technical practices will help ensure high-quality, genuine responses to the question: "What is work in a digital world?" These elements together will shape the overall mood and narrative of my final video.
