As I develop my Hopecore/Hopelesscore video, the production process is structured into three key stages: pre-production, production, and post-production.

Production Stages

In pre-production, I will research Hope/Hopelesscore aesthetics to refine the video’s tone. Before conducting interviews on “What is work in a digital world?”, I need to obtain ethical approval. I will also edit and select images to enhance the video’s visuals.

During production, I will edit in Adobe Premiere Pro (Adobe, n.d.), incorporating text overlays, effects, and transitions while ensuring cohesive colour grading to align with the chosen aesthetic.

For post-production, I will refine the final cut, ensuring it adheres to the required 9:16 aspect ratio, and then export the video for review before submission.

Fixed Deadlines

Key deadlines include the final video submission and presentation date, alongside ethics approval and interview completion deadlines. Additionally, I will meet peer or tutor review deadlines for feedback and improvements.

Resources & Accessibility

To create the video, I will use Adobe Premiere Pro (Adobe, n.d.), Lightroom (Adobe, n.d.), and Photoshop (Adobe, 2023)(all accessible on my laptop) for video and image editing. Stock footage and audio files will be sourced from free/licensed platforms. The images have already been captured, but they require further editing. Interviews will be conducted once ethical approval is granted.
